So when I can't sleep at night, I browse through BuzzFeed. And I stumbled across this. I found it humorous, and reading some of these felt kind of strange, because we don't talk about men in politics this way. So why do we about women?

Ah, these are painful to read. Largely because this is SO true that we talk that way about women. What makes that okay?
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of thehawkeyeinitiative.com which does a similar thing, pointing out the ridiculous ways in which women are portrayed in comic books by drawing or otherwise recreating the image with a man. It is truly absurd (and upsetting) but I suggest checking it out.
